I remember my childhood so fondly, those were the days of the “pokemon phenomenon” as it was called back then in the 90s. I wanted to depict a nostalgic shot of a kid in his room surrounded by his digital pokemon friends. I’ve filled this image with nods to classic Pokemon, see if you can recognise them all!
I’ve been meaning for a long time to do a body of work based on designing characters in their rooms, I find it an interesting way to tell a viewer all about that person just by looking around their room. Our rooms are filled with things we love, our achievements, family photos, snaps of where you’ve been, etc, so their a great way to show what kind of person someone is.

Overall Vision
Originality Technique ImpactBrillant piece of art. Your style is very nice, clear and efficient. The perspective, characters, colours, atmosphere and amount of details are well done. I'm not even into the Pokemon thing but this drawing caught my attention and admiration.
The only thing that bothers me in that pic is that abusive bloom effect. It's kinda raping the scene. It looks like a nuke is exploding outside. You should appease a bit the bloom aroud the windows and remove the one around the tv, which is quite useless.
